ESSO x PWHL

This project was for my New Media Design 3 class at Durham College. I was tasked with creating a 20 second animation that would play at a Esso gas pump station promoting the PWHL. I focused on creating a mixed media animation that highlighted Canadians in the game. After choosing 4 players, I made sure to find a stand out moment of their PWHL career so far, highlighting them with their team colours, and giving each player a different transition using various tools like marker, knives, tape, and paper tearing. The audio behind the animation starts off with Billie Jean Kings speech before the inaugural PWHL game, which transitions into 'New Years Day' by Taylor Swift.

Materials Used: Paper, Marker, Acrylic Paint, Knives, Scanner, Masking Tape

Software  Used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects,     Epson ScanSmart 2.
